  • 5 : I've been playing this iteration of the game since it's been in development, and even made some suggestions that the developer took into consideration. It's an epic time killer that I binge play on my commutes. Sure, the interface is a tad clunky, but that's because he's working within the framework of the original game (which is still fun in its own right). The fact is, once you get the hang of where everything is, you can mow through seasons within minutes, and yet still control a lot from the director level (thibk GM level for a pro league). You can also slow down and do lots of research before making decisions, too, so the game is great no matter how much time you have to kill.
  • 3 : This sim does a lot of things right. The game engine seems realistic, and I loved being able to use the team editor to insert my conference of fictitious Florida colleges (led by the University of the Everglades Pythons). Where I have a problem is with the data presentation. The vertical lists of players' game stats are very hard to read and absorb, compared to the traditional newspaper box score. The same goes for in-season totals, switching between single categories instead of showing them as a multi-column table. Being able to easily read and compare stats helps me develop an affinity with my fictitious players, and this game falls short in that respect. Improve the data format and you'll have a real winner. I'd also like to see more focus on what's going on in my conference instead of endless lists of colleges that I don't really care about (until the Sweet 16 starts).
  • 5 : Great work on the game, fun and realistic. In time, it'd be awesome to add more depth by allowing to convince players that want to leave early to stay by spending recruit money
  • 5 : Easy game to control any college. It is fun highlight your team. Rebuild it. Make a powerhouse from a bad team. And a whole bunch more.
  • 4 : If you like all the recruiting side of football this is a great app. Very generic and a few glitches as far as not keeping my coaching record. But its an overall cool game especially for free!
  • 4 : This game is a wonderful simulation for its statistics and play style. I only wish that when your character reincarnated, the stars from your previous character(s) were saved. Everytime I reincarnate, all of the records from previous players and my coach are lost, which is a core part of the game for me.
  • 3 : Keep the old look with the new updates, just not crazy with the new look.
  • 3 : I really enjoyed the game before the update, but there's an incredibly sour taste in my mouth about the game since I lost my save that I had spent a lot of time on. Still though, I tried the update and the balancing is all off. I'm stuck recruiting 3 star guys with the occasional bust of a 4 star, the new interface is clunky, I've selected a certain defense multiple times only for it to revert back to something else. I'm on the Reddit so I understand what's up, but this update has lost me.
  • 5 : I've been playing this game since way back in the beginning... I would have given it 5 stars then, but now it has improve so much there are just not enough stars to give..... if you're a college football fan, and enjoy a strategic simulation game then this is for you.... easily one of my most played apps...... Love It!!! keep up the excellent work!!!
  • 5 : Really nice sim. Would definitely like to see an editor. Also ranking and scheduling is a little wonky. Had 1 loss, won conference and beat #1 team ... no playoff. 1 season i played the same team 3 times, lost by 2, beat them in conference championship and then faced and beat them in the playoffs. I guess a deeper playoff would cure those issues long as you are consistantly top 10 ... may try that.
  • 5 : I really love playing many many seasons and trying to break records however a glitch prevents this from continuing eventually for some reason when I start the game the records are erased as are the settings
  • 4 : It's a really good game but there's just no action with it. Like you should be able to run practices and give pep talks that if you pick the right one for each game then it'll give your team a momentum boost or drop. Upgrade players and stuff. There is a lot of things you could do with this game. It has potential it's just not there rn.
  • 4 : Well... It's Difficult. So there is that. It's realistic, and mostly to the perfect ounce of everything. One problem though: Transfers. See, in Football Coach 2, they fixed one of these problems, and reworked the other. In that game, recruiting is a bit of a slog, but FAR more realistic. And you can keep a single player that wants to transfer every year, which is fantastic, but that isnt the problem. The problem is you can't keep any of the players who transfer, and you can't choose who you get.
  • 2 : has all the possqibility to be a good game but falls short in several areas. need to improve recruiting/the recruits and the sim engine wasn't very good I would be ranked middle of the pack in the 60s or 50s and I could always count on losing to a team in the 100s, this game could be very good but still needs alot of work.
  • 5 : I LOVE the game. LOVE IT. But, I gave it a 1 star until we can get the reincarnation glitch fixed. Whenever I pick my D coordinator after I reincarnated, the game crashes. As soon as that fixes, easy 5 stars!!! EDIT: It looks like the issue is also present sometimes when I hit "contract status", and then game just crashes. Appreciate the reply, and i still bumped to 5 stars. Great work!!
