  • 1 : This App is horrible. It is literally impossible to explain in 500 characters how bad it is. Slow streaming, cant stream, bad links, links to nowhere, this is the norm for this app. End of a game I would often be between 5 to 10 minutes behind real time. Half the time I could not even see the game. You seem to have to trick the app sometimes to even be able stream it. I had this app with a hulu/disney/ESPN+ deal. Guess I lost ESPN now. Not renewing this garbage app EVER. A bargain!
  • 1 : great for checking scores of games but unless you have espn + theres a multitude of content you cant even gain access too. As an espn plus subscriber I'm not happy with the service as I'm a huge cardinals baseball fan and every time the cards have a game scheduled on espn plus its blacked out whether their at home or on the road. Disappointing to say the least.
  • 1 : Had to subscribe for service, download their cheap app and pay for a PPV fight. The stream is slow and has to buffer every 30 seconds (all other streaming services have no issues). Overlay and time bar wont go down covering 1/3 of picture. Paid the highest ive ever paid for a stream and its the lowest quality ive experienced in 10 years. ESPN has fallen so far and has gotten so greedy, this will be my last experience with their brand - I doubt they care, they still got my money. Buyer beware.
  • 2 : The ESPN app is largely functional, up until you attempt to watch video clips and highlights, which appear everywhere throughout the app. Video clips will rarely load and play as intended, though the 15-30 second ads that precede each highlight never have an issue loading. Also, if you change screen orientation mid-video, it will often restart the video, but not before it plays you another ad. This app is often more of a headache than it's worth.
  • 1 : Way way too slow, way too many ads, way too much lag on start up, videos take forever to load. I can literally open Google Chrome and search for the video highlight faster than it takes the espn app to load a video.... Especially after ads. All in all, one of the worst sports news highlights apps out there. Owned by Disney, you'd think you'd put some effort and money into this.
  • 1 : Hands down the WORST streaming experience in all the world. The app just started playing the Stanley cup celebration for no reason after it was already playing correct thing. Then it switched back automatically to the correct video but starting from beginning. It just stopped and started over again. I don't have internet issues. I can't believe they charge money for this!! Sometimes the Chromecast playback shows different title of video than what's Playing. How do they have so many bugs?
  • 1 : I purchase the service along side with Disney and Hulu, and is the worst svc of the bunch. since you pay to have the service, you'd be able to watch many of the live events (not including PPV understandable) but cannot watch many of the events unless you also subscribe to ESPN via cable or satellite services. expected better
  • 1 : I would give this app 0 stars if available. Bad customer service. This is a rip off. Last time I paid for a fight I couldn't even watch it. App kept freezing 🥶 phone would crash. I tried other device like my tablet and same thing happen. Espn did not want to refund me my $69.99 . I was so frustrated. I have never had a issue with DAZN app.
  • 1 : Every video I try and watch; the adds work just fine, but the videos hardly play. So I have to close out, re-watch another add to hope I can see the video or article selected. Which mostly doesn't work. Fix your videos! I'm tired of paying for ESPN+ and only getting to view ads.
  • 1 : This, BY FAR, the absolute WORST streaming app I have ever encountered. Searching is horrible, replay constantly buffers. Navigation is absolutely terrible. In 2021, we deserve better. This app is so bad. On Android TV, you can't look at a season or a series, you can only see episodes that are not grouped together. The designers of this app should not be fired, they should be shot.
  • 1 : I can't believe I pay for this horrible experience! This is hands down the worst streaming app ever created! I pay for espn+ and trying to find return of the ultimate fighter is such a pain in the butt. Why isn't there a show page with a episode list? It's just horrible. The UFC desperately needs to make a deal with netflix. Because this is a joke!!!! The experience has not changed in one year.
  • 1 : It really is incredible how absolutely useless this app is. Takes forever to start up and load ANYTHING and when you're able to eventually select something to play, you get an authentication error. That's while using the device I used to subscribe to ESPN+ and also enabling location access. Why even have this available for download??
  • 1 : literally the glitchiest app I've ever used. i just want sport scores, read an article, and listen to a podcast. used to work great. whenever they added the tv to it, the app never works. the video streams don't even work! absolutely the worst.
  • 1 : I paid for the UFC PPV, I have great Internet and I couldn't go 20 seconds without buffering. I even restarted my internet just to be sure. This was the worst experience I've ever had with a PPV and may not purchase again based on this experience!
  • 1 : Many playback issues, spinning, frozen. Some load, some do not. Layout and design clunky and crowded. Trying to watch Wimbledon matches, only about 1/3 will load and play. Constantly getting error messages. You can do much better than this, ESPN. And I quote "an error has occurred, please try again."
