1 ★: This app is useless! So much for 24/7 talk to a doctor. I have a minor issue and tried connecting to the 24/7 service a dozen of times. I have my permissions set to allow the app to use my camera, phone, microphone, etc. It still tells me it needs access, or it freezes on me, or kicks me back to the login page. I even tried it on my husband's phone with the same issues!
1 ★: Unreliable app that frees up frequently. Seems to have been written by ninth-graders as their first programming project. This app should be taken down until it is fixed. Update: Sent email to support as requested. No response has been received. Update: A Cigna representative contacted me 2 months ago about my review. She sounded interested and indicated that they would fix the problems that I reported on my phone call with her. Nothing has changed and the app is still absolute garbage.
1 ★: All information on the app seems to just redirect back to the website. Which is annoying. Why even have an app if it's just going to redirect everything back to the website. Basic info is available, but everything else just redirects. App crashes or stops working enough to be really annoying. And the info is not up to date. Thanks cigna.
1 ★: Update: latest update Sept 2023 the app no longer even opens - crashes immediately. Didn't think it was possible for a health insurance app to be this bad. 5+ second page loads, randomly freezes, poorly organized, prescription info is incoherent and intended to funnel you to express scripts, lacks any obvious way to find critical info (what is my annual out of pocket max? This app sure doesn't want me to find out). One month into Cigna thanks to my job cheaping out, already miss blue shield.
1 ★: Can't access my app. I had forgotten my password about a month ago and had to change it but the 4x I've tried since to reset it (after plugging in authorization code) I get a notification that the app is having technical difficulties and I cannot reset a password. It's VERY frustrating, especially since I can't find my current card and have to look for it in pics/emails.
1 ★: WORST APP EVER - Never ever able to log in! Always having a technical error and you're aware and working on it. Well, new to Cigna and it's been like this for 10 days on the app. And it's just not me! My spouse is having the same problems. First impression - horrible experience!!!! Can believe a top notch healthcare system can allow this to happen. You should be ashamed of yourselfs. Your head of IT department, should be fired.
2 ★: Good design, but having issues with live chat where I don't see the current conversation. I get a notification of a new message, but it requires logging into app again, and then there is no way to view my chat. When the agent finally closes the chat, then I can see it in history.
1 ★: The app is simply horrible. I place a password, only to have the app not recognize it the next log in, therefore, needing to create a new password. Then that's even a battle trying to get a password accepted. I have to do this at every login and it's annoying. Now, I am trying to enter the app and is not working. Just like the cigna systems for the business, all messed up.
1 ★: This is one of the worst apps I have ever had the displeasure of being forced to interact with. The UI would be fine if it ever worked, but I'm having to close and reopen the app 5-10× any time I need to do anything. Lately, every other login will say it needs to set up 2FA, but announced it has failed to do so and that I can't log in without it, nor attempt to send a new code. This wouldn't be half as infuriating if the mycigna website worked even less frequently than the app does.
1 ★: I'm not sure what apps are thinking lately by not allowing autofill, but if I have to look up my password, enter my pin, and cut and paste the password every time I want to use the app then I no longer have any use for the app. Chrome works on my phone just fine, and autofill works there as well, so I can complete my task a little more discretely and without compromising my entire phone security. I'm not pleased that you joined in on this trend.

A: An Android Package Kit (APK for short) is the package file format used by the Android operating system for distribution and installation of mobile applications. Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same.
