1 ★: This app won't even stay running long enough to check it out. It crashes almost immediately, and once a pop-up message says it had a bug. I read similar reviews going back at least a couple of months before I stopped reading. As a new customer, this is concerning. Now I'm wondering if switching to Spectrum is a good idea. Is the lack of attention to this obviously poor functioning app indicative of attention to customers. I need this app to work.
1 ★: Never loads after signing in. It just has the spiraling circle at bottom of the screen. And that's after it's redirected me back to the app after saying I successfully signed in. This is such a trash app. It almost never opens. Just blue circle spinning. Then a pop up will say sorry something happened please try again. And the process just repeats. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it so many times. I'll even freshly reinstalled it and then it'll still tell me to update it.
1 ★: Won't load on any of my devices anymore. Just says "unable to complete service request" can't even login. EDIT: I didn't say it's not opening, it opens just fine. My issue is once it opens it just loads and loads and loads til it says "unable to complete service request" I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling and that didn't work on all of my devices.
1 ★: Way too much time to load. Many glitches and its frustrating being connected to their own Wi-Fi and it still takes 10 minutes to log in. Trying to pay takes even longer. I have to disconnect from their network and use my cellular network and pay through that. The service is great and fast but this app needs a lot of work. We just fixed it no more than 2 hours ago and the problem came back
1 ★: Been a long time customer with spectrum. Not only do I not get what I pay for in the internet department but they're pretty pricey and it seems like every month when I pay my bill my internet goes off and on after payment was made. Are the creators of this app still in high-school cause it's pretty much broke or what's really going on guys... edit: 2 years later and the app is still completely unresponsive at times it works when it wants to. Do better!!!
1 ★: App is slow, has a tendency to crash if you close it and reopen it, and generally unhelpful when it comes to internet outages. On the topic of internet outages, Spectrum is the only ISP available in my apartment. It still boggles my mind how much they jack up the price after a year to still have near daily connection issues and outages.
1 ★: None of your apps are working!!!!!!!! Sam s22 ultra!!! Edit: i figured it out on my own in a few minutes. I am 100% this saved me many hours with support.. who would have just made things worse. And i am absolutely floored that its almost 2024 and the app doesn't support 5.1 audio. Are you serious? It's actually worthless then. The only service without 5.1 audio (and i have ALL of them) and it is by far the most expensive. Max dropping down to just HD from 4k HDR soon is the last straw.
1 ★: Would not recommend this service to anyone. This service just seems like a money scam. You pay money, but it rarely works. And the price just keeps increasing! Having to constantly restart the equipment, and sometimes it takes an hour to work again. And this happens every single week. There has to be something better. Because complaining does nothing. I can't even use wifi at home most of the time. When I wake up AND get home from work, the equipment has to be restarted. It's ridiculous!
5 ★: rarely do I have problems. if there is a problem, it's usually during severe weather. but, even then it's rare to have problems. speeds are good for what I use it for, I do online gaming, have 4 smart TVs, and on average, two of the 4 TV's, plus the cell phones, doesn't interfere with the online gaming.
1 ★: This app is so janky, but at least it shows Spectrum's consistent throughout their entire company. Usually consistency is good. Unfortunately, all of my experiences with this company have been consistently dog💩. This app is full of bugs, doesn't work half of the time, and when it does it takes forever to load. I would avoid this company all together. Back to update and they charged me an extra $20 for an unapproved upgrade. Still can't get Internet service in most of my house.
