4 : Works as expected, accurate (compared with an arm cuff) and simple to use. You need to find the correct lens on a multi lens camera - no big deal. Update: for the last few weeks I have been getting wildly inaccurate readings, not consistently but often enough to distrust the readings.

1 : I think it's a crock when it comes up and says Rate Us 5 Stars OR later. That's the only 2 choices that i had. No wonder your score is so high. I am not having really good results when I go from 57 to 115 sitting still in a chair at the computer but hey, it was worth a try right? Too bad it dont work. Even so... the '1' is for what looks like forcing a 5 rating.

2 : Update, it no longer takes a consistent rate and is just frustrating to use. And the rate just goes all over the place, It is too quick on analysis. i have a 55 to 65 resting rate and the reading times out before getting down that low. add some few more seconds or have a consistent reading over 3-4 seconds to get a more accurate reading. its just not there yet.

4 : Pretty accurate based on also testing manually right after... Helps me with my anxiety and panic attacks.... But doesnt seem to go above 150 (at rest!) for me on both my main phone and my secondary back-up phone. Pretty dead on unless full blown panic attack which manually is over 150 bpm. Otherwise... Great! Helps manage for when i need to take medication to slow my heart rate to a safe level!

5 : I've used this app for over a year now, I've compared it to readings done in the hospital and several doctor's offices and it very accurate. I have tachycardia and high to check my pulse everyday several times a day and I love that it keeps up with it and it tells me if it's too high. I also like being able to go to stats and see my average heart rate for the week the month or all time. All together a great app to have!

4 : Fluctuating readings I have a heart that does a sort of double beat, with an initial high followed by a low for each heart beat. After making the setting for sensitivity = 2 it gives similar readings to other apps that I have tried. A fairly constant 68 to 72. Which is what my pacemaker is set to. Works better after adjusting the sensitivity. Thanks.

4 : This app does not need an account, there are not too much anoying adds and questions, it functions stabile on android, simply too use, the data are stored localy. If you need only pulse counting, it looks just perfect! It would be great if the app would count some steps additionaly... Maybe it could be a little problem if the mobile contains more then one camera, I have four of them on my Samsung and it can be tricky to find which one to use...

5 : I have a smart watch with quite the accurate heart rate reading. Wanted to try this app to see how well it worked in comparison. I'm impressed. It was consistently within 3 to 7 bpm difference with what my smart watch was saying. If you need to easily monitor your heartrate, this app is good. (Using a samsung A52 and covering all three three camera lens with a single finger)

4 : I like the app, good menu and layout, cool stat page. However it's not functional that you have to press at the top of the screen to start calibrating...(thumb doesnt reach). Perhaps an improvement would be to simply click anywhere on the main screen to start the calibration?

5 : Works well, with this Samsung J5. It is very difficult and inconsistent using a finger tip, so I tried it on the edge of my palm, just above the wrist on the little finger side. This point (after a bit of juggling to get it right) gives consistently good results. It also allows you to use that hand's fingers to steady the phone. I use it daily now.

FAQs & Tutorials

Q: What is an .APK File?

A: An Android Package Kit (APK for short) is the package file format used by the Android operating system for distribution and installation of mobile applications. Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same.

Q: What is an .XAPK File?

A: XAPK is a zip format standard that includes Android App Bundles or APK files (installation packages), along with OBB, cache assets, and other data files. This format ensures that an app is downloaded and runs successfully on Android devices. Due to the Google Play Store's limitation on app file sizes, developers often use the XAPK file format for apps larger than 100MB. This approach allows users to download APK files on Android without experiencing corruption issues.

Q: How to install .APK File?

Installing APK files on Android devices is straightforward. Here's a step-by-step guide:

  1. Download the APK File: Download the APK file from this website and save it in an easy-to-find location, such as your device's 'Downloads' folder.
  2. Open and Install the APK File: Locate and open the APK file you just downloaded. A prompt will appear asking for your confirmation to install the app. Tap "Install" to proceed with the installation.
  3. Complete Installation and Launch the App: Wait for the installation process to complete. Once installed, you can open the app directly or find it in your app drawer.

Q: How to install .XAPK File?

To install an XAPK file, you need to use the Split APKs Installer (SAI) application. Here's how to do it:

  1. Install SAI: Download and install the Split APKs Installer (SAI) app. The installation process is similar to that of any regular APK file.
  2. Install the XAPK:
    - Open the Split APKs Installer (SAI) on your device.
    - In SAI, tap on the 'Install APKs/XAPK' button.
    - Navigate to the folder where you saved the downloaded XAPK file.
    - Select the XAPK file you wish to install and proceed.
  3. Complete the Installation: Follow the on-screen instructions within SAI to complete the installation process. Once the installation is finished, the app will be available in your app drawer for use.
