5 ★: Great for motivation, and seeing awesome results after 12 weeks. Really like the variation on training methods. One problem though - when changing programs, the app doesn't recall the weight amounts from previous programs. The initial suggested weights are miles off what you were previously lifting, so you waste a session figuring out what weight to lift again. Need to improve the weight suggestions on new programs.
5 ★: Great app ! I've had motivation to go to the gym but would wonder around aimlessly doing random machines and workouts. Your app gives the guidance of a personal trainer but at your own pace and not the cost of a personal trainer.I also enjoy that it allows you to substitute workouts for other ones that are similar if you do not have the right equipment.
5 ★: Recently moved over to an Android based phone and was trying to find the right app that was similar to the one I use to use. This is by far the best one that was close and has given me pretty great work outs. I only have two suggestions. 1 adding the option of equipment currently being used button when you need to replace a work out while working out because that's usually my case when I'm at the gym and the other options are not applicable. 2 maybe adding hiking to the endurance section
5 ★: I love this app, it has made my workouts more structured and has encouraged me to try different machines and different exercises using free weights. The suggested weight has made me try lifting weights that I thought I could never lift and I now have the confidence to venture into 'The big boys' weight section of the gym. I would like to see more options in the endurance section of the app but overall it's very user friendly.
3 ★: It's good as a tracker, but the best feature, the weight calculator seems to be locked behind the pay wall. After the trial expires, your set weights continue to repeat what you did previously and they don't update based on whether you achieve the prescribed reps. This makes it little better than a notebook and pen. That said, while I had access to the full app, I enjoyed it very much. It definitely helped expand the selection of exercises I use. The exercise demonstrations are very helpful.
5 ★: Tried loads of apps with the view of starting to use the weights and weights machines in the gym. Found this one is by far the easiest and best to use for someone of little experience working out with weights. Instructional videos have helped with each exercise, being able to adjust the weights (& have different weights suggested based on performance) is really good. Can also do the exercises in any order if a machine is in use or replace an exercise if you don't have the equipment.
3 ★: This app was 5 stars until recently when I had to watch an ad between EVERY set; it shuts my music off and is generally disruptive. I was willing to pay a fee to remove the ads like most apps have, but this one only removes them if you pay a monthly or annual subscription fee. I don't want the other things that come with the subscription, I just wish there was a way to pay to get rid of the ads only.
4 ★: Love the app, very handy and the only suggestion I have is to allow editing exercises or have more options in case of injury. I have chondromalacia so many exercises for my legs need to be more specific like a squat assisted by a bench ou a half leg extension. Would be great If the app could consider people with restrictions. Thanks!!
5 ★: I got the app about a year ago but only really started using a few montha ago. I have been really happy with the workouts and I appreciate the videos. I'm always worried abou injuring myself on accident due to lack of good form and this helps. Only thing I would like to suggest is maybe have an option to select an alternative work out if the machine or tool is occupied. Sometimes the gym is just too busy and I can't stand around waiting for the person to finish. Especially if they take long.
5 ★: Great App, good mix of guidance and flexibility. I tried a lot of apps to organize my workouts, this is the best one. I'm now a pro user and the price is fair, the devs are responsive and it's great to see the regular development - love it. A few feature requests: (1) Google Fit sync, (2) additional plans (e.g. lower vs upper body), (3) more flexibility with weights (my dumbbell system has irregular increments, e.g. 3.5 > 4.5 > 7 > 8 > 9 > 11.5 ...)
