2 ★: Why will no videos on Chrome play full screen. They are off center to the right leaving about a 2 inch gap on the left and part of the video on the right side is cut off. I've tried news videos & YouTube videos. It doesn't matter. If it's played in Chrome, it's off center to the right in full screen mode, phone turned horizontal. I downloaded two different browsers and the videos work fine and are full screen, nothing off center. I really don't want to switch, but I can't watch videos like that.
1 ★: Keyboard shortcuts in Gboard stopped working on many webpages and web forms. I use shortcuts for my email addresses, and I now have to type everything out. No option to put the search/URL bar on the bottom of the screen. iPhone users have the option on iOS, but Google treats their own pixel and Android users as second class citizens. And the browser occasionally forcing tab groups without an option to disable them is infuriating. At least add to home shortcuts have returned.
2 ★: I read a lot online, and it totally messed up the layout of all my tabs. The headings are all super big, and the main content is in a way smaller font. The accessibility feature that I previously used it adjust the font isn't working right. Also, the option to tap the screen a couple of times to make it reset the site to normal after zooming isn't working right. It's been super annoying trying to get my sites back to my preferences.
1 ★: Ever since the newer updates, in incognito we are now no longer able to download automatically anymore and now we have to click to confirm each download? Why? At least, why not give us an option instead of an ultimatum? This just adds extra steps to the end user's workflow. We shouldn't have to go into the flags setting (which doesn't always help anyway, things get removed) or rely on 3rd party add-ons. Just a simple on/off settings option. Don't get me started on the PC versin.
2 ★: I use chrome for everything. Recently the formatting of every website I enter is completely off, it's zoomed in weird or half the page is missing so I have to turn on desktop mode. But even then, it resets every time you click something. And desktop mode is not ideal on a mobile device. I work in a phone store so I am fairly knowledgeable on trouble shooting- I've gone as far as completely erasing all data from the app but nothing has fixed this issue
3 ★: As much as I'm not a fan of making reviews, I feel like I have to here to hopefully get some help. I've noticed that Chrome Incognito will begin to crash after a certain amount of time, usually the first sign is that whatever I'm browsing through will begin to slow down, then freeze, and then crash after about a second or two. I recently factory reset my phone as I was concerned that I had some sort of malware, I even changed all my passwords for all my accounts. The problem still happens.
1 ★: The text/font size using Chrome has become so small it's nearly unreadable. The accessibility settings in Chrome doesn't change anything. The font size in my Android settings is already set to large. Chrome was working great when I first got my phone a month ago, but now the font is so small I can't ignore it anymore. I know several people who have the same problem with Chrome on Android, too. Please look into this issue!
1 ★: Update date in Play Store doesn't match most recent actual update date. New bookmarks view is still horrible & inconsistent with the most recent update, incorrect icons!!!! Chrome mobile should go directly to Mobile Bookmarks and NOT Reading List, etc., etc. first. Chrome has only degraded in the UI for too long now. Unable to clear Browsing History even though it shows None. Please fix!!!!!!
1 ★: I haven't updated the app for a while but somehow, even without an update here, there have been changes to my version of the app. Navigating through my bookmarks is much slower than it used to be because it keeps trying to load preview images I neither want it need. I'm really disappointed. This has been my primary browser for years. But I don't want involuntary changes. That's the the primary reason I'm rating so low
1 ★: Still takes forever to load. But the major issue is tabs. I've got 4 open. One for me, 3 for work. When I try to switch, you tap the 4 in a box. Nothing. Tap harder. Nothing. Minimize chrome. Nothing. I have to close it and reopen it to even change tabs now. Fix this now! I've already downloaded Firefox, its that's bad Edit November. No fix nor even a response from Google when I sent a issue. So glad I went to firefox
