  • 1 : The latest update doesn't work on my Sony XBR-65X900F. The app will launch but will not play any content. My TV has been updated to the latest firmware. The previous version 4.13.3 is working just fine but it keeps updating causing me even more grief. Please fix this issue.
  • 1 : Doesn't work well on Android TV. Frequently crashes, steaming playback has issues 90% of the time and when it does work is terrible quality.
  • 1 : Back & Fwd controls suck. Amazon also puts commercials in front of everything regardless of membership status. Customer Support is done by robots that solve nothing.
  • 2 : White areas in the scene flashes like strobe for HDR content. Please fix it.
  • 2 : I cannot complain about the technical issues like other users (it works on Philips Android TV), but since the last major update the UX has gone for worse. The whole UI is heavily optimized for tablet operation that makes it very difficult to use and navigate with a normal remote controller. Also, the language settings are not remembered, so each time a new movie is played, I have to go through multiple menus to set the language (I live in Germany but I do not want to watch dubbed movies with subtitles in German, but original sound with subtitles in English. In every movie that offers this and without reconfiguration each time I play a new one)
  • 1 : As MANY others have reported here, this app just refuses to work on Android TV. I have a brand new Sony TV that runs on Android TV, and the Prime Video app opens (very slowly, by the way), and lets you browse the menus, but it doesn't play any content, and then gives you a random error message, non-descriptive, and useless, that changes every time. The only way to make it work is to uninstall all updates and use the old version that came with the TV. And then the app gets updated and fails again. Awful, completely useless app! Every other streaming app works fine on Android TV (Netflix, Hulu, AMC, Peacock, etc.), so the problem is only with Prime Video.
  • 1 : Terrible support on Android TV. The app sometimes crashes, returns to the TV landing screen. The lane positions reset when navigating back. Next episode markers are way off, sometimes 5 minutes before the end of the current episode. The screen saver forces the app to close. The app terminates while switching between processes. Most recently watched shows aren't listed on the dashboard. Subtitles sometimes default to the wrong language. The interface design is so bad, you have to navigate back to the top to search or switch genre tabs...
  • 2 : Latest update is buggy (v5.4.9), when playing a show or movie, the time counter doesn't start always, and if you quit a show, you can't resume where you left of. Also the pause/play options don't work when this happens. The new update also, removed the content resolution from the display, it was nice to know the type of content the show/movie was in. I'm uninstalling this version and going back to the previous one v5.4.7
  • 2 : Used to work fine, but now it plays everything in SD on my 4K TV. The web player and Roku work fine, Android TV does not, making the app pretty much useless. Contacted Amazon support, the closed the ticket and said engineering is looking into it and would get back to me -- needless to say, silence.
  • 1 : These versions (5.4.6 and 5.4.7) are NOT compatible with Android OS, the App loads up correctly but videos won't play. I was able to uninstall this version of the app on one of my 3 android devices and bring back version 4.12.5 and videos now play normally with no issues.. My other 2 Android devices (Chrome Cast with Android TV and Nvidia Shield TV) don't have the option to uninstall this update unfortunately :-(
  • 3 : I can only see HDR with the TV application, not my streamers. Even after the laterst April 2021 update, it only plays HDR 10+ on my new Samsung QLED TV. It still does not play not even plain HDR on any of my two Android TV players, both Netflix certified that perfectly display Netflix with HDR. Instead, I get a dark, black, unwatchable video. If I enable SDR to HDR to one of the two players, image appears improved but video level is still about 50 % down compared to the one the Samsung QLED displays.
  • 1 : it doesnt load the pics (thumbs) of movies just text
  • 1 : The prime Video app opens on the Chromecast with Google tv but does not play the video once you start the movie. Every other app works on the device with no problems.
  • 1 : Was working fine but from last 2-3 days HDR stop working on Google TV. Other apps working fine with HDR so its not the TV. Fix this issue asap.
  • 1 : Same issues as described by Henan. Versions are NOT compatible with Android OS, the App loads up correctly but videos won't play. Continue to have connection issues with only Prime Video.

Q: What is an APK File?

A: An Android Package Kit (APK for short) is the package file format used by the Android operating system for distribution and installation of mobile applications. Just like Windows (PC) systems use an .exe file for installing software, Android does the same.

Q: Why CloudApks.com can guarantee APK 100% safe?

A: Whenever someone wants to download an APK file from CloudApks.com, we'll check the corresponding APK file on Google Play and allow user download it directly (of course, we'll cache it on our server). If the APK file does not exist on Google Play, we'll search it in our cache.

Q: If I install an APK from CloudApks.com, will I be able to update the app from the Play Store?

A: Yes, absolutely. The Play Store installs APKs it downloads from Google's servers, and sideloading from a site like CloudApks.com goes through a very similar process, except you're the one performing the downloading and initiating the installation (sideloading).
As soon as the Play Store finds a version of the app newer than the one you've sideloaded, it will commence an update.
